CGJROTC Instructor Certification

If you are interested in becoming a Coast Guard JROTC Instructor or would like to learn more, please email the Coast Guard JROTC Instructor Manager, LT Laura Garofalo (Laura.E.Garofalo@uscg.mil) to initiate the CGJROTC Instructor Certification process.

All new CGJROTC instructors are required to attend the Navy’s New Instructor Orientation Training (NIOT) held in July; this is usually completed the summer before the instructor’s first school year.

Coast Guard retirees, veterans, and reservists who hold a current Navy JROTC Instructor Certification may be eligible for CGJROTC Instructor Certification.
