CGJROTC Instructor Certification

If you are interested in becoming a Coast Guard JROTC Instructor or would like to learn more, please email the Coast Guard JROTC at CGJROTC@uscg.mil

All new CGJROTC instructors are required to attend the New Instructor Orientation Training (NIOT), typically held in July; this is usually completed the summer before the instructor’s first school year.

Coast Guard retirees, veterans, and reservists who hold a current Navy JROTC Instructor Certification may be eligible for CGJROTC Instructor Certification.
