MUC Nathan Lassell
Prior to joining the Coast Guard Band in May 2009, Chief Musician Nathan Lassell, percussion, received a B.M. from George Mason University and a M.M. from Rice University. He is a member of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and Rhode Island Philharmonic and is an adjunct professor of percussion at Connecticut College. MUC Lassell has performed with the National, Nashville, Hartford, Knoxville, Huntsville, San Antonio, and New World Symphonies. In 2005 he was a fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center and was twice a member of the National Orchestral Institute.
