Personnel Bio

MU1 Christopher Lane

Musician 1st Class Christopher Lane joined the United States Coast Guard Band in September 2011. He is from Orlando, Florida, and began playing trumpet at age 11. MU1 Lane attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL and studied with Christopher Moore. Other teachers include Mark Hughes, Neal Berntsen, Mark Schubert, Chris Martin, Ray Mase, and Barbara Butler. MU1 Lane attended the Brevard Music Center Festival from 2008-2011 and is an avid tennis, golf, and ultimate Frisbee player.
