MUC Adam Crowe
MUC Adam Crowe

Chief Musician Adam Crowe, principal tuba, is a native of Guin, Alabama. He began his musical training at the age of 11 and later attended the University of Alabama where he studied with J. Michael Dunn, former tubist with the U.S. Marine Band and Alabama Symphony Orchestra. MUC Crowe has been a featured soloist with the Coast Guard Band, most recently having commissioned and premiered a work by composer Anthony O'Toole. He has also appeared as conductor on the Band's Academy Concert series and Chamber Players series. In 2013 Adam joined the New Haven Symphony as principal tuba. Adam also serves as music director for the Classic Brass Band of Willimantic, a British-style brass band consisting of the area’s finest amateur musicians, educators, and students.
