MU1 Kyle Thompson

Musician 1st Class Kyle Thompson joined the U.S. Coast Guard Band in July 2023. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University and a Master of Music from the Yale School of Music. Prior to joining the Coast Guard Band, MU1 Thompson was a fellow at the New World Symphony in Miami, Florida and spent summers at the Music Academy of the West. MU1 Thompson has performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Naples Philharmonic, and The Florida Orchestra, among others.
