Personnel Bio

MU1 Thomas Reynolds

Musician 1st Class Thomas Reynolds is from Farmington Hills, Michigan and joined the United States Coast Guard Band in October 2011. MU1 Reynolds graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Music in Bassoon Performance in 2008 and received his Masters Degree from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2011. His primary teachers have been Richard Beene, Jeffrey Lyman, Robert Williams, and William Winstead. MU1 Reynolds has attended summer festivals at the Brevard Music Center and the Madeline Island Music Festival. When not playing bassoon, he enjoys playing golf and tennis.
