Personnel Bio

MU1 Timothy Bedard

Musician 1st Class Timothy Bedard, horn, joined the United States Coast Guard Band in May 2017. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Wheaton College Conservatory of Music and his Master of Music degree at Northwestern University Bienen School of Music. MU1 Bedard has performed with the Chicago Civic Orchestra, Chicago Jazz Philharmonic, and the Cape Symphony Orchestra among others. He has performed solo concertos with the Marquette Symphony Orchestra, Bay View Music Festival Orchestra and the Wheaton College Symphony Orchestra. MU1 Bedard’s principal teachers have been William C. Robinson, Melanie Cottle, Jonathan Boen, and Gail Williams.
