Join us for a celebratory concert inspired by Broadway and the music of George Gershwin led by
Director, Commander Adam Williamson.

The program opens with John Philip Sousa’s “Humoresque on Swanee,” a take on George Gershwin
and Irving Ceasar’s iconic “Swanee,” which would go on to be featured in the Broadway production,
Sinbad. Scott Joplin’s “Combination March” follows, after which Chief Musician Megan Sesma is
featured on Stephen Gryc’s Spring Rain. The Band’s Soprano soloist Musician First Class Allison
Landstedt sings a set of Bernstein classics from West Side Story, and the concert concludes with
Gershwin’s timeless American in Paris.
