The Band presents a recital of chamber music at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center. Join us
for a compelling matinee featuring music specially selected by and for the United States Coast
Guard Chamber Players.

The program opens with Antonino Pasculli’s “Le Api,” a thrilling showpiece for solo oboe, and a
clarinet and piano arrangement of George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue follows. Schubert’s lied
“Shepherd on the Rock” will be sung by Musician First Class Allison Landstedt, soprano, which
precedes a set of romantic music by Brahms and Clara Schumann for oboe and piano. The recital
will close with Jun Nagao’s exciting “Paganini Lost” for piano and two saxophones.
