GovDelivery
GovDelivery (Granicus) is a web-based e-mail subscription management system that allows a member of the public (user) to subscribe to news and information on USCG websites. The GovDelivery user selects specific topics that interest them. Whenever USCG makes information on that topic available, the user who has subscribed to that topic receives an email. The user’s subscription profile consists of their email address and the topics they wish to receive email updates for. The user may customize and manage their subscription profile to receive exactly the information they desire, and they may cancel their subscriptions at any time.
USCG uses the GovDelivery service to deliver email bulletin messages to subscribers. A list of topics available for subscription by the public can be found at https://public.govdelivery.com/accounts/USDHSCG/subscriber/topics (you will need to enter your USCG email address to view the list).
Several offices at HQ also use GovDelivery to manage controlled lists of subscribers that are not available for public subscription.
Account Requests
To request a USCG GovDelivery account (to use GovDelivery with an existing topic/distribution list), please complete the GovDelivery Request Form for New User Accounts (you cannot be your own leadership contact), and attach it to a new CGFixIt ticket.
Please note: The approval box at the bottom of the New User request form is for the Office of Digital Media approval and will be signed by the Chief of Digital Media or the Public Web Program Manager.
After 45 days of inactivity, GovDelivery automatically disables your account. Please log in frequently to avoid access issues!
