MUCS Vince Yanovitch

MUC Yanovitch Senior Chief Musician Vince Yanovitch joined the band as assistant principal trombone in 1991, two years after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in music from The Juilliard School. Prior to joining the band, Vince performed in groups such as the Aspen Festival Orchestra; AIMS Festival Orchestra in Graz, Austria; Juilliard Orchestra; Houston Symphony; Houston Ballet Orchestra. He has performed for conductors including Zubin Mehta, Leonard Slatkin and Cristoph Eschenbach. His principal teachers have included Per Brevig, Joseph Alessi, and David Waters.
