Command Master Chief Andrea Martynowski

Command Master Chief Fourteenth Coast Guard District

Master Chief Andrea “Marty” Martynowski assumed the duties as the Deputy Commandant for Operations Command Master Chief (DCO-CMC) in May 2024. As the principal senior enlisted advisor she collaborates with the Office of the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard (MCPOCG) and other service Command Senior Enlisted Leaders to advise DCO on mission, morale, and well-being of existing or proposed policy changes, and serves as the primary senior enlisted representative on DCO chartered initiatives, panels, boards, teams, councils, and committees.

Master Chief Martynowski previously served as the Command Master Chief (CMC) for the Coast Guard’s Fourteenth District as well as Coast Guard Training Center Yorktown in Virginia. Prior to those tours, she was CMC and Navigator of USCGC HEALY in Seattle, Washington.

Master Chief Martynowski’s distinguished career includes two alfoat commands as the Officer In Charge of USCGC RAZORBILL out of Gulfport, Missisippi and the USCGC RIDLEY out of Montauk, New York. Other assignments include: Company Commander School Chief, Section Commander, and Recruit Company Commander at Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, NJ; Operations Chief, CG Station South Padre Island, TX; First Lieutenant and Executive Petty Officer, USCGC PETREL, San Diego, CA; Search and Rescue Controller, Marianas Section Guam; USCGC TAHOMA, New Bedford, MA; and Communications Station, Kodiak, AK.

Master Chief Martynowski’s awards include two Meritorious Service Medals, five Coast Guard Commendation Medals, two Coast Guard Achievement Medals, four Meritorious Team Commendations, two Arctic Service Medals, Expert Rifle and Expert Pistol Medals and numerous other personal and service medals.  She has earned her permanent Cutterman and Recruit Company Commander insignias.
