Master Chief Andrea “Marty” Martynowski assumed the duties as the Command Master Chief for the Fourteenth Coast Guard District on April 8th, 2022. As the Command Senior Enlisted Leader, she provides enlisted perspective and advice to the District Commander on all Coast Guard missions throughout Oceania, including Hawaii, Guam, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Singapore and Japan.
Previously, CMC Martynowski served as the Command Master Chief for Coast Guard Training Center Yorktown in Virginia.
Master Chief Martynowski also served as the Command Master Chief and Navigator in USCGC Healy, Seattle, WA. She held two commands afloat, serving as Officer In Charge of USCGC Razorbill, Gulfport, MS; and USCGC Ridley, Montauk, NY.
Some of her other assignments include: Company Commander School Chief and Section Commander, Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, NJ; Operations Chief, CG Station South Padre Island, TX; First Lieutenant and Executive Petty Officer, USCGC PETREL, San Diego, CA; Search and Rescue Controller, Marianas Section Guam; USCGC TAHOMA, New Bedford, MA; and Communications Station, Kodiak, AK.
Master Chief Martynowski’s awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, five Coast Guard Commendation Medals, two Coast Guard Achievement Medals, four Meritorious Team Commendations, two Arctic Service Medals, Expert Rifle and Expert Pistol Medals and numerous other personal and service medals. She also earned her permanent Cutterman and Recruit Company Commander insignias.
