Master Chief Petty Officer Thomas P. LePage assumed the responsibilities as the Reserve Command Master Chief for the Operational Logistics Command July of 2023 and he is responsible for assisting the Coast Guard bases in maintaining Reserve readiness, managing leadership opportunities, and promoting professional development.
Master Chief LePage is a native of Norwood, NY. He enlisted in the Coast Guard in August of 1991 and entered the Coast Guard Reserve in January 2002. MCPO LePage’s previous assignments include the Command Master Chief Port Security Unit 305, Senior Enlisted Reserve Advisor SFO Atlantic City, Senior Enlisted Reserve Advisor Station New York, CG Atlantic Strike Team, Environmental Protection Branch Activities New York, Station New York, MLB Station Golden Gate, USCGC Edisto, USCGC Sweetgum and USCGC Salvia.
He was recalled to active duty as the CMC for the Marine Security Detachment Guantanamo Bay, Cuba Joint Task Force, Real Property Asset Enrollment Team Leader with CG Office of Civil Engineering, Shoreline Cleanup Assessment Techniques Team Liaison for Deepwater Horizon, Vessel of Opportunity Skimming System supervisor for Deepwater Horizon and Operation Enduring Freedom with the Atlantic Strike Team.
Master Chief LePage awards include a Coast Guard Commendation Medal with operational distinguishing device, Navy Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, four Coast Guard Achievement Medals with operational distinguishing device and other personal and service awards. He has earned a permanent Port Security Insignia, Advanced Boat Forces Operation Insignia, Marine Safety Insignia, Prevention Operations Ashore Qualification Insignia, and Command Master Chief Silver Badge Insignia.
Master Chief LePage is a graduate of the CG Senior Enlisted Leadership Course, Reserve Class 21 of the CG Chief Petty Officer Academy, Expeditionary Operational Course, Maritime Law Enforcement School, and Marine Safety Petty Officer Course. He has an Associate Degree in Applied Science with a focus on Construction Engineering from SUNY Canton and his Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Biology with a concentration in Marine and Environmental Biology from Monmouth University.
Master Chief LePage is currently employed as an Agricultural Specialist with U. S. Customs Border Protection at the Port of New York/Newark Field Office where he works in Sea Cargo Enforcement. He currently resides in Fair Haven, NJ where he is married to the former Kari Bruhn and has three children, Madeline, Nathaniel, and Gabriel.
