Coast Guard Response

For those in the projected path of #HurricaneMilton24, know your risk and follow evacuation orders. Storms move quickly and can be life-threatening.

🌀 U.S. Coast Guard Atlantic Area urges those in the potentially impacted areas to begin making preparations NOW:
  • Remove boats, kayaks, and SUPs from the water
  • Have a safe mooring plan for your boat
  • If needed, contact your local harbor master for guidance
  • Remove all EPIRBs, life rings, and lifejackets from your vessel
  • Do not go out to sea during a storm
