Rear Admiral List serves as Commander, Operational Logistics Command (LOGCOM), responsible for the delivery and integration of mission support logistics for all Coast Guard steady state, contingency, and expeditionary operations, and planned events of national significance. Leading a workforce of over 5700 members, she ensures common business processes are used by Logistics and Service Centers during the delivery of regional services provided by 23 Base Commands, Base Detachments and110 subunits.
Prior to assuming command, Rear Admiral List served as the Coast Guard’s Assistant Commandant for Engineering and Logistics (CG-4). As the Coast Guard's "Chief Engineer", she was responsible for all civil, aeronautical, naval, and industrial engineering, including logistics for the service's 25,000 facilities, 2,300 cutters, boats and aircraft. Leading a dispersed workforce assigned across Coast Guard Headquarters, Aviation Logistics Center, Surface Force Logistics Center, Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center, and the Coast Guard Yard, she was responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining the resources necessary to sustain Service capabilities.
A career naval aviator with over 4,800 flight hours, Rear Admiral List served as the Commanding Officer of Air Station Sacramento, California, standing up the Coast Guard’s first HC-27J fixed-wing command. Her other operational assignments include Executive Officer Air Station Barbers Point Hawaii; Engineering Officer Air Station Los Angeles, California; Air Station Clearwater, Florida; and Air Station San Diego, California.
Her staff assignments include Executive Assistant to the Deputy Commandant for Mission Support where she coordinated Headquarters and field activities for a 17,000-person mission support organization; Chief of the Office of Aeronautical Engineering, leading engineering, maintenance, and logistics efforts for the service; Aeronautical Engineering Systems Chief, HC-144 Fixed Wing Systems Manager, and District One Readiness and Reserve Programs. In addition, she served as Program Manager in the Office of Acquisitions, responsible for a $900 million cutter and response boat acquisition program executing the initial deployment of the long-range interceptor (LRI) and over the horizon (OTH) boats, and deployment of the response-boat medium (RBM) achieving full operational capability for the service.
Commissioned in the United States Coast Guard in 1991, Rear Admiral List attended flight training at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida. She is a U.S. Coast Guard designated Aeronautical Engineering Officer, and qualified Aircraft Commander and Instructor Pilot, having flown the MH-65 Dolphin and HH-60J Jayhawk helicopters, as well as the HC-27J Spartan fixed wing aircraft.
Rear Admiral List holds a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University, Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy; a Master of Science in Quality Systems Management; a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration; and is a graduate of the Defense Acquisition University’s Senior Acquisition course.
