Master Chief Michael D. Ingham assumed the duties of the 3rd Command Master Chief of Coast Guard Cyber Command on May 1, 2020. Master Chief Ingham is the principal advisor to the Cyber Commander on all enlisted personnel matters.

CMC Ingham grew up in a US Navy family and calls home where the service sent his father. He enlisted in the Coast Guard in August of 1998. Master Chief Ingham’s previous assignments include Information Systems Technician Rating Force Master Chief; Assistant Information Systems Security Officer, Base Miami Beach; Chief, Ceremonial Honor Guard; Networks Product Line, TISCOM; Armed Forces Inaugural Committee; Electronic Systems Support Detachment New Orleans; USCGC Mohawk; Electronic Systems Support Detachment Miami; and Telephone Technician “A” School.

CMC Ingham’s awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Coast Guard Commendation Medal, Coast Guard Achievement Medal, and other personal and service awards. He has earned Honor Guard and Rating Force Master Chief insignias.

CMC Ingham is a graduate of the Coast Guard Senior Enlisted Leadership Course, the Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer Academy, and other service related schools. Master Chief Ingham holds an Associate’s of Arts in Information Systems Degree from Strayer University.

CMC Ingham is married to YNCM Angelica Ingham and they have one infant daughter.
