This section of the PENOBSCOT BAY site contains a growing archive of newspaper articles, video clips, and other news coverage of the cutter and its operations since her keel was laid in 1983. The archive is organized by year and by subject. All items are made available with permission of the applicable source and copyright is reserved. News articles and Web clippings are available as PDF files, or in some cases, .jpg files; link here to download the necessary plug-ins if you do not have them.
If you are a former PENOBSCOT BAY sailor or simply a Coast Guard icebreaker buff in possession of additional coverage of the cutter that is not featured here, please contact us so that we might reprint the content here.
