Lieutenant Commander Nadolny reports to MOHAWK from Coast Guard Headquarters, Office of Cutter Forces (CG-751), where he served as the Deputy Fast Response Cutter Sponsor’s Representative.  Prior to that, he served as Commanding Officer in USCGC MONOMOY (WPB 1326), homeported in Manama, Bahrain.  While in command, Lieutenant Commander Nadolny conducted maritime interdiction operations, maritime infrastructure protection, and theater security cooperation in the Northern Arabian Gulf in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.

Lieutenant Commander Nadolny graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management.  Upon commissioning, he served as Deck Watch Officer and First Lieutenant in USCGC LEGARE (WMEC 912), homeported in Portsmouth, Virginia.  Following that assignment, Lieutenant Commander Nadolny reported as Commanding Officer in USCGC DOLPHIN (WPB 87354), homeported in Miami Beach, Florida, where he conducted search and rescue, alien migrant interdiction operations, and counter drug operations off the coast of Florida and the Bahamas.  Lieutenant Commander Nadolny’s next tour was as a Command Duty Officer in the Seventh District Command Center in Miami, Florida, coordinating Coast Guard response and prevention operations along the southern-Atlantic coast and throughout the Caribbean.

Lieutenant Commander Nadolny’s personal awards include three Coast Guard Commendation Medals, the Coast Guard Achievement Medal, two Commandant’s Letter of Commendation and the Iraq Campaign Medal.
