History of Station Marblehead
Captain Lucien Monroe Clemons was assigned the first station keeper in
September 1876. Lifesaving Station Marblehead was one of the 7 first on the
Great Lakes. Since then, there have been 3 different stations built on the
same location. The current one built in 1981.
