Sector New Orleans Units and Area of Responsibility (AOR)

The Sector New Orleans AOR extends from the Mississippi/Louisiana State Line in the east, to Mile Marker 303 on the Lower Mississippi River in the north, to longitude 92-37W in the west. This area encompasses the 31 parishes in Southeastern Louisiana and includes some of the nation’s busiest deep draft ports (the Ports of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and South Louisiana, and the nation’s only offshore deep draft port, the Louisiana Offshore Oil Port or LOOP).
