Office365 FAQs - How does O365 change Mobility?

Mobility is a requirement of DEOS, the DOD initiative the USCG is aligning to. Other factors in DEOS have been prioritized ahead of mobility, however access from tablets and mobile devices is available on the O365 commercial cloud and is still being pursued on the .MIL cloud. We anticipate this becoming relevant in a couple years following the transition.

Office365 FAQs - Can remote units with low bandwidth connect to O365?

Yes. Extensive testing has taken place to evaluate whether each site meets the required specifications. In a parallel project, NET Product Line is upgrading all Recruiting Stations and remote units to a 10 Gbps connection to improve the bandwidth to acceptable limits.
