The PCS Assist Team will conclude at the end of September

After nearly a year and a half of operations, the Coast Guard’s Permanent Change of Station (PCS) Assist Team will be concluding operations, Sept. 30, 2021. Good to go: USCG authorizes PCS and HHG shipments for 2021

PCS and household good shipments are authorized until further notice, and the Coast Guard is optimistic that the 2021 PCS season will go smoothly.Key initiatives from last year will remain in place to support members relocating due to permanent change of station (PCS) orders. Meanwhile, a New Shipmate Form will help units make the transition easier

Mask, gloves, hand sanitizer. Wipe everything down and don’t touch your phone. Get what you need and get out as quickly as possible. USCG authorizes PCS/HHG moves through June 30

PCS Sitrep 5 ALCOAST  authorizes Permanent Change of Station (PCS) and household goods (HHG) moves until June 30. If possible, try to move before July 1, when DoD moves are expected to resume and will make it more challenging to secure movers. What’s new: Some members have reported problems calling the PCS Assist Team from their Coast Guard desk
