Wellness Wednesday Invite for 26 August

Hello Shipmates,

September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness month; however, every day we have a responsibility to demonstrate authentic concern for others and serve as a protective force against all forms of harm, including suicide. The campaign theme for 2020 is “Connect to Protect.”  This messaging aims to reinforce the connection we have with our shipmates. Please join CDR Sarah Garrett from HSWL SC and Ms. Christiana Montminy, Employee Assistance Program Manager on 26 Aug from 1500-1600 EST as they talk about ways to minimize suicide-related behaviors by promoting wellness and social cohesion.

For those of who have lost a loved one to suicide, we acknowledge your pain and suffering.  Our Coast Guard family is here to support your healing journey as well.
