Occupational Safety and Health

The YARD Safety Office is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and Coast Guard safety regulations.

The office is supervised by the Quality, Safety and Training Manager and is staffed by a Safety Specialist and an Industrial Hygienist.

Services provided:

Shipyard & Industrial Safety inspections/guidance
Industrial Hygiene Surveys
Hazardous Materials Evaluations
Asbestos Surveys, Identification, Evaluation, and Removal
Lead Surveys, Identification, Evaluation, and Removal
Sound Surveys
Respirator Fit Testing

We have a large library of 1/2" VHS tapes on Occupational Safety and Health and DVD’s coming soon.
