Medical and Dental Clinics
SMTC's Medical Branch consists of 12 corpsmen, ten from the Coast Guard and two from the Navy. SMTC Sick Bay is located at the Wayne M. Caron Clinic and allows the corpsmen to treat most medical situations.
Medical and dental care are available at Courthouse Bay Clinic, located in Building BB-118. Walk-in, first-come-first-serve sick call is held every weekday in the Medical Clinic from 0730-1030. Emergencies are treated anytime. Appointments can also be made if necessary.
Dental appointments are not made for students due to the large permanent personnel load. Emergency situations will be handled. Dental hours of operation are located on the front entrance.
Sick Call:
Prior to attending morning sick call, be sure to go through the proper chain of command to obtain an appointment. For any emergency, go immediately to sick bay and allow medical personnel to notify your command.
