WHO WE ARE
The Shore Maintenance Command (SMC) is located in Seattle, Washington. The SMC reports directly to the Shore Infrastructure Logistics Command (SILC) in Norfolk, Virginia. The SMC has the following subordinate units reporting to it:
- CEU Cleveland, OH
- CEU Providence, RI
- CEU Miami, FL
- CEU Oakland, CA
- CEU Juneau, AK
- CEU Honolulu, HI
PURPOSE & MISSION
Shore Maintenance Command (SMC) provides a full range of engineering services in support of Coast Guard Operations along the West Coast extending from Alaska to Hawaii and out to the Far East. Our services include: planning, design, contracting and construction of shore-unit projects for maintenance, repair and improvement, environmental restoration and compliance, and energy conservation.
