"Helping to balance your Work and Life"

The purpose of Work Life is to make sure that service members strike a reasonable balance between the needs of the CG and the needs of themselves and their dependants. Work Life recognizes that for a member to realize there full potential and perform at an optimum level they require this work and home life balance. Work Life Staff offer a variety of services which include but are limited to counseling services, special needs programs, Financial management programs, lifestyle/fitness programs and grant/scholarship information for you and your dependants.

Jennifer Avila is the ISC Miami Work Life Family Advocacy Specialist at Sector San Juan.  She helps families in a multitude of ways.  For example, she helps identify and enroll the families with Special Needs; investigate all alleged cases of spouse and child abuse both at home and in the schools, provide training on Work Life Programs and she is the referral source for members and family members needing to use the Employee Assistance Program.  Her “Welcome Baby Basket” program helps new parents by providing them with some helpful products, information and emotional support. Her office in San Juan is on the first floor of the Administration building (126).  Please do not hesitate to call if I can be of help. All calls will be kept in strict confidence.
