Recent News:

On May 31, 2007, KEY LARGO debuted Phase 2 of the Coast Guard's biometrics proof of concept. KEY LARGO interdicted 40 DR and Haitian Nationals 3 NM West of Mayaguez. 8 migrants were transferred ashore to CBP for prosecution by the US Attorney's office. Read Story

 In July 2007, the crew of the KEY LARGO spent the day volunteering at a foster home named "El Hogar Del Nino El Ave Maria," which is located in Bayamon. The crew did landscaping and yard work, and assembled an entire new playground for the children.
