The Comprehensive Exercise Curriculum(CEC) and Master Exercise Practitioner Program (MEPP), One of the Passenger Vessel Safety Program missions is to promote community based Mass Rescue Operations planning and exercises with the private sector, local, tribal, state, territorial and other Federal Agencies. A good tool to accomplish this is personnel form local, tribal, State, and Federal levels of government attend the FEMA Master Exercise Practitioner Program (MEPP). This course is designed to improve the knowledge of individuals in designing and conducting exercises at the local, tribal, State, and Federal levels of government. Interested individuals can find the selection criteria and application process in the current Emergency Management Institute course catalog. The MEPP program is also consistent with the U.S. Coast Guard's goal of have a MEP graduate at every level from Sector to Area
