PSU 311 Ombudsman

CONTRIBUTING TO MISSION READINESS THROUGH FAMILY READINESS.

The unit Ombudsmen are command designated volunteers that serve as a link between the command and families. The Ombudsmen assist the command in providing information and related services to families regarding sources of assistance available to them, Coast Guard and command policies, and activities of interest to family members.

Discussions with the Ombudsmen may be confidential except for required reportables, including:

  • child abuse / neglect
  • alleged domestic abuse
  • suspected / potential homicide or life endangering violence
  • suspected / known suicide risks

    PSU 311 Ombudsmen I became a member of the Coast Guard family when I married Joe Rudolf in 2007. We have two children ages 5 and 3. I have worked as an industrial Hygienist for over 17 years in the printing and aerospace industries. When I'm not running around after two toddlers I enjoy hiking, camping, volleyball, and reading.
