Personnel Services and Support Unit (PSSU) Miami was created 27 September 2009 from the transformation of Integrated Support Command Miami Beach. PSSU Unit Miami is responsible for personnel services to over 6000 Coast Guard members throughout the 7th District. Including HHG Shipments for all military services, area housing management, administrative support, decedent affairs and military honors coordination.

Causeway Island (CI), site of former Base Miami Beach and ISC Miami is home to PSSU Miami Command and located in Miami Beach. CI is the location of PSSU Miami's Administration Branch, Servicing Personnel Office and Morale Well-being and Recreation Branch. Other commands located on CI are Base Support Unit (BSU) Miami, Health Services Work Life Field Office (HSWL-FO) Miami Medical Branch, Sector Miami, Navel Engineering Support Unit (NESU) Miami, and Electronics Support Detachment (ESD) Miami. Personnel-related services available on CI include a clinic, galley, fitness center, pool, multi-purpose recreation court, all hands club - the Gator Den, and an exchange.
Richmond Heights (RH), about 25 miles south of downtown Miami, is the Coast Guard office building which houses PSSU Miami Housing and Personal Property Shipping Office Branches, HSWL FO Work-Life Branch and other commands including CEU Miami, CGIS SAIC Southeast Region, TACLET South, and LEDET Miami.
