Vision and Mission
Our Purpose:
To provide short term personnel support for operational and support units throughout the Coast Guard.
Background:
Due to personnel shortages, operational and support units will, on occasion, require personnel augmentation to execute their primary missions. These short term personnel needs are usually met by an Active Duty member performing Temporary Duty (TDY), or by a Reservist performing either Active Duty Operational Support for the Active component (ADOS-AC) or Active Duty Operational Support for the Reserve component (ADOS-RC).
