sure your workstation is setup to allow email from Direct-Access.
Check your Junk email Option, in MS Outlook, by going to Actions>Junk
Email>Junk Email Options. Make
sure the box next to "Permanently delete Junk Email"
is NOT checked. Then,
add ucgp1pp@hostingmail.corio.com to your Safe Senders list.

Introduction |
This section provides the procedure for entering and updating your email address in Direct- Access. You must have a business email address in the system in order to take advantage of the self-service password reset feature or to have reports delivered via email.
Entering or changing your business email address, using this self-service procedure, is the only way to update the email address in your user profile.
Military Personnel can also use Direct Access self-service to:
Change Federal Tax Information Change Home or Mailing Address Change Thrift Savings Plan Elections View Paycheck (LES)
Click the "Self-Service for Members" book in the table of contents (if the contents isn't shown on the left side of this window, click "show" at the top of this page to display it) to view more self-service items. |

All active duty and reserve military personnel, civilian employees and members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary are required to enter their primary email address in PeopleSoft.
Effective immediately the email extensions (domains) of .mil, .gov, and .edu may be used in the Business Email Address field of DA. The use Internet webmail (Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, etc.) or other personal email account is not authorized.
CG personnel shall continue to remain cognizant of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (SPII), particularly data extracts, while utilizing DA email functionality. All users shall adhere to guidance set forth in the Handbook for Safeguarding Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information at DHS (DHS MD 4300A).
Users experiencing difficulty updating their DA Business Email address should contact their Servicing Personnel Office (SPO) for assistance. SPOs have the ability to update the Business Address field via the Email Address link on the DA Portal Home Page. After the email address is updated, the user can request a new password via the forgotten password link on the DA home page. |

Start Direct-Access, sign in and follow these steps to change enter or update your email address.
Note: You cannot delete a Business Email address once it has been entered. However, you can change it.

Then, click on My Email Addresses

In the Email Type column, click on the drop-down arrow and choose Business. You may enter other email address types also, but the Business email address type is mandatory and must be entered before any other type of email address.
The business email address is used for sending forgotten password resets, orders, drill notifications and work list entries. |

Mark the checkbox in the Preferred Address column.
