Employee ID numbers replace the use of the SSN for identifying employees of the U.S.Coast Guard. Active duty and reserve personnel can find their employee ID number in the remarks block of their monthly leave and earnings statement (LES). Civilian personnel will need to visit with the administrative support staff at their unit. They can produce a unit roster from Direct Access to obtain your ID. Contractors and other non-employees should enter the User ID assigned when their account was established.
