The material presented in this web site is divided into guides for Apprentice (E-3/E-4), Journeyman (E-5/E-6) and Master (E-7/E-8/E-9). Use the links below to access the guides. Apprentice Guide (E-3/E-4) NEW!Apprentice GuideThe Apprentice Guide covers information required for members aspiring to advance to E-3 and E-4. The guide is divided into seven topic areas (A-G) which contain individual lessons in PDF format. After reading the information contained in each lesson, the member must perform the Learning Activity located at the end. Successful completion of the Learning Activity shall be recorded on the E-PME Apprentice Performance Requirements Worksheet (CG-1510-3). Proficiency in each requirement must be demonstrated to the designated supervisor, who will date and initial each item on the worksheet. Prior to taking the E-PME Advancement Qualification Exam (AQE), members must have ALL E-3 and E-4 Performance Requirements signed off.
