An enthusiastic team of accomplished professionals dedicated to improve instruction and facilitate learning throughout the Coast Guard by providing a blended approach to performance based instructional support.
Training Center Petaluma's Instructional Systems Schools: Instructor Development Course (IDC) and Course Developer Course (CDC) are designed to assist Coast Guard Trainers in the deployment of performance-based training.
The IDC & CDC courses are delivered in facilitated workshop formats in which students work on the development of instructional material and techniques they will use in the field.

Prerequisites: Officers, Petty Officers and GS employees assigned to instructor billets.

Duration: 10 days
Prerequisites: PERJC competency code or assigned to an instructor billet with a
collateral duty as a Course Designer/Developer.
Course Code: 502093
Duration: 10 days
Prerequisites: Designated Master Chief (MC) or grade E7/E8 assigned as a service wide examinations (SWE) writer. Assigned as a non-resident course developer for the following products: E-PME, EOCTs, SWEs, AQEs.
