LCDR Jack Jackson
LCDR Jackson enlisted in the US Coast Guard in 1982 and rose to the rank of Chief machinery Technician before accepting his commission as Chief Warrant Officer (Naval Engineering) in 1997. LCDR Jackson was commissioned as a Lieutenant in 2001 and promoted to LCDR in 2007.
LCDR Jackson's enlisted assignments include NESU Alameda, Small Boat station's Ashtabula, Ohio, Coos Bay, Oregon, and Engineering Petty officer of Station Mare Island California. LCDR Jackson's officer assignments include MSO LA/Long Beach, MSD Santa Barbara, MSO Buffalo, and LSSU Baltimore. LCDR Jackson served as Engineer Officer of CGC SHERMAN (WHEC 720) and CGC MUNRO (WHEC 724).
LCDR Jackson attended Portland Community College and Excelsior College receiving Associates in Applied Science degrees in Naval Engineering Technologies and Machine Manufacturing Technologies.
LCDR Jackson's personal awards include the (4) CG Commendation Medals, (5) CG Achievement Medals, (2) Commandant's Letter of Commendation Ribbons along with numerous, team, campaign, and unit awards.
