CWO4 Gale (Center) Pins the Permanent Cutterman Insignia on DC2 Mandrie’s Uniform.

Honoring a shipmate! Today at quarters we honored two shipmates (MK2 Schumacher and DC2 Mandrie) who have earned their Permanent Coast Guard Cutterman Pin, having completed five years of Sea Service. In a small ceremony the officer (CWO4 Gale) and senior enlisted member (EMCS Donze) with the most sea time among HEALY’s crew pinned the distinguishing insignia on their uniform – signifying tradition, dedication, and professional achievement, in our nations oldest seagoing service!
