Pollution Removal Funding Authorizations (PRFAs)


The Pollution Removal Funding Authorization (PRFA) is a tool available to FOSCs to quickly obtain needed services and assistance from other government agencies in oil spill and hazardous materials response actions. (Note that there are separate forms for federal and non-federal agencies.)

  1. Download and complete the appropriate form below.
  2. Attach the Statement of Work (see sample below).
  3. Sign the PRFA.
  4. Fax a copy to the NPFC Case Officer.
  5. Later submit the completed document with the Incident Report and Transmittal Form to the NPFC Case Officer.
