The mission of the Regional Examination Center (REC) is to pre-screen applications, administer examinations and conduct oversight of Coast Guard approved courses

MU Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday
Exam Room: 7:30am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday
Exam Scheduling: ALL Mariners are required to schedule their exams 3 working days prior to visiting an REC.
Appointments: Mariners are required to schedule their appointment 3 working days prior to visiting MU-San Juan. Walk-Ins will be handled on a 'Space Available' basis only.
