Avoid “Awaiting Information”

Awaiting Information (AI) letters are mailed to mariners if it is determined that more information is required of the mariner. Each AI letter means that the application process cannot continue until the mariner has submitted all documents requested in the letter. This can cause significant delays in the issuance of a credential. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

Medical Review Incomplete physical or missing required supporting documentation 90 days Your application will be closed and you will need to reapply.
