Providing Credentials to Mariners
The mission of the Regional Examination Center (REC) is to pre-screen applications, administer examinations and conduct oversight of Coast Guard approved courses

REC: 7am to 3pm Monday through Friday
Exam Room: 7:15am to 3:15pm Monday through Friday
Exam Scheduling: ALL Mariners are required to schedule their exams 3 working days prior to visiting an REC.
Appointments: We highly recommend that you schedule an appointment before coming to a REC. Walk-Ins will be handled on a 'Space Available' basis only.

Parking: When you visit REC Long Beach there is paid and metered parking available around the Glen Anderson Federal Building area.
