Petaluma Guest House
Location: About 50 miles north of
the city of San Francisco, on the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center,
Petaluma, CA.
Season of Operation: Year round.
Description: Located in beautiful
Sonoma County. A total of 11 rooms are available, 8 of which are attached
to the Consolidated Club. There are 2 small VIP rooms and 1 large VIP
suite in Harrison Hall. Any member with military ID can book these
rooms (see reservations below).
Facilities: A six lane bowling
center is attached to the Consolidated Club. A weekday lunch and a
daily evening food
concession is operated in the Club, serving pizza, sandwiches, salads, and
fried foods. Other facilities available within walking distance are the
gymnasium, fitness center, CG Exchange, library with Internet accessibility,
and a movie theater with 3 D and DTS surround sound showing first run movies
beginning each night at 7:00 PM.
Activities: Bowling, shopping,
movie theater, library, and fitness facilities.
Recreation Equipment Available:
None.
General Information: Rooms
are equipped with microwave, cable television, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, and
private bathroom. These rooms can accommodate one to two adults. There
are connecting rooms for families with children and/or multiple adults. The
large VIP suite offers a king bed. the VIP rooms are for patrons 18
years and older. Travelers with children 17 or younger must reserve
the club rooms.
Reservations: Reservations are required and may be made in person
or by telephone at the Lodging Office in the Consolidated Club, Monday through Friday, from
8 AM to 5 PM. Open only to authorized MWR patrons. PCS travel
may reserve 90 days in advance. Recreational travel may reserve 60

Driving Instructions: Take the
Washington Street exit off US 101. Proceed west through the City of
Petaluma -- Washington Street becomes Bodega Avenue. Continue following
signs to the Training Center (a total of about 11 miles). Turn left on
Tomales Road. A flashing amber light marks the main gate. Once on base,
turn right on Nevada Street. The Club and Guest Housing are located in
Building #134 on Nevada Street.
