Kaplan University Scholarship Program
The American Freedom Foundation / Kaplan University Scholarship Program has been established to provide support to certain children and spouses of U.S. Service personnel that desire to attend an online undergraduate degree program at Kaplan University. The scholarships will be granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin. more info >>

FRA Education Foundation
We recognize more is needed to ensure that our Nation's military, and their families, are afforded an education that will benefit their future – and that of our country. The Foundation is an important step in growing this scholarship program. FRA's Education Foundation scholarship program has been helping deserving students reach their educational and professional goals for decades, presenting annual awards of up to $5,000 to individuals pursuing college and graduate degrees. more info >>

Military Commanders' Scholarship Fund
This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship Management Services, a division of Scholarship America. Scholarship Management Services is the nation's largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin. more info >>

Defense Commissary Agency
The Defense Commissary Agency operates a worldwide chain of commissaries providing groceries to military personnel, retirees and their families in a safe and secure shopping environment. Authorized patrons purchase items at cost plus a 5-percent surcharge, which covers the costs of building new commissaries and modernizing existing ones. Shoppers save an average of more than 30 percent on their purchases compared to commercial prices – savings amounting to thousands of dollars annually. more info >>

United Through Reading
One of the most difficult things a child can experience is having a parent deployed to a war zone for an indeterminate period of time. United Through Reading helps ease the stress of separation for military families by having deployed parents read children's books aloud via DVD for their child to watch at home. more info >>

The Home Depot Foundation
The Home Depot Foundation is running a special program to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11. From 11 Sep 11 through Veteran's Day (11 Nov 11), Home Depot is offering to conduct work projects on military members' personal homes.

Home Depot will provide the materials, labor and contractors. Projects will include repairs and installations more info >>

Hero Behind the Hero Scholarship
Columbia Southern University (CSU) is proud to award 10 scholarships in 2011 through the Hero Behind the Hero Scholarship Program. Navy Wives Clubs of America Scholarships
The Navy Wives Clubs of America is a national organization of spouses of Navy, Coast Guard, and Marine personnel. The organization’s main aims are to form a community and to simply offer fellowship and support to each other. Each year the Navy Wives Clubs of America (NWCA) generously offers thirty scholarship opportunities for the children of Navy, Coast Guard, and Marine personnel. more info >>
