The Procurement Law Division (LSC-9) provides advice on the legal aspects of all parts of the procurement process from the initial planning and development, through initiation of a procurement action, award, administration, and termination or successful completion of a contract. We provide specialized advice on fiscal and procurement issues including procurement law, procurement policy, fiscal law, construction law, suretyship, and utility law.
The Procurement Law Division serves contracting offices in the Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC), Surface Force Logistics Center (SFLC), three Civil Engineering (CEU) units, Facilities Design & Construction Center (FD&CC), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Base Support Units, and a large number of small units with purchasing agents and contracting officers. We attempt to share information and keep our clients abreast of interesting changes and developments in the law through informal outreach and occasional legal advisories to our clients.
