IF YOU FILED A FORM 1040EZ LAST YEAR, bring:
1. Last year's federal income tax return;
2. Your W-2 (wage and earnings statement); and
3. Form 1099 (interest statements from banks).
IF YOU FILED A FORM 1040A LAST YEAR, bring:
1. Last year's federal income tax return;
2. Your W-2 (wage and earnings statement);
3. Form 1099 (interest statements from banks);
4. Social security numbers for all dependents you are claiming on this year's tax return;
5. Information on child care expenses you paid last year; and
6. Information on Individual Retirement Arrangements (IRAs) if you did or plan to contribute.
IF YOU FILED A FORM 1040 LAST YEAR, bring:
1. Last year's federal income tax return;
2. Your W-2 (wage and earnings statement);
3. Form 1099 (interest statements from banks);
4. Social security numbers for all dependents you are claiming on this year's tax return;
5. Information on child care expenses you paid last year;
6. Information on Individual Retirement Arrangements (IRAs) if you did or plan to contribute;
7. Mortgage interest statement (if any);
8. Alimony information (copy of divorce or separation agreement); and
9. Any other financial information from the tax year (e.g., investment statements, rental report, medical expenses, charitable contribution records).
