Activities off watch underway and inport underway

Diligence pulls into many interesting domestic and foreign ports. While inport if you are off duty there are many activities to enjoy. We have many morale activities such as snorkeling trips, rainforest hikes, mountain biking, kayak trips through luminescent rivers at night and golf. All of which Diligence morale helps fund or set up. Diligence crew members also enjoy surfing and fishing some great spots. Diligence surfers have enjoyed great times in Colombia, Virginia Beach, Mayport Fl. Other possible spots that have potential are Miami, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Central American countries. As well as any Caribbean Islands we sometimes pull into. All of these spots also have great fishing as well. We have caught Grouper and Snapper off of Great Inagua, Tarpon in Guantanamo Bay and Key West as well as other fish in most other ports we are in. We have the option (operations permitting) to fish for big fish behind the boat underway. Some catches have been nice Mahi Mahi, Wahoo and all types of tuna. Golfers have had the opportunity to enjoy many beautiful courses all over. Snorkeling is a great option for down time in most ports we pull into. The reefs of the Caribbean are abundant with fish and all types of coral. Most of the time right off the beach. So if you are reporting aboard check with your Department Leader as to space for your gear and enjoy.
