Meet the Crew
The crew of CGC LEGARE is made up of 14 officers and 85 enlisted personnel. Onboard are mixtures of rates which include: Operations Specialists, Electronic Technicians, Information Technology Specialists, Gunners Mates, Boatswain Mates, Store Keepers, Yeoman, Food Service Specialists, Machinery Technicians, Damage Controlmen, Electrician Mates, Health Services Specialist, Maritime Enforcement Specialists, Seamen and Firemen. In 2011 LEGARE protected living marine resources from North Carolina to Maine.  Most recently in February – November 11 LEGARE patrolled the Caribbean off the coast of Haiti.

Mission and Duty First, LEGARE is commissioned to execute Missions. We are commissioned and enlisted to serve in ratings, duties, and watches. We will focus our time, funding, training, accountability, and recognition squarely on the fundamentals of Mission and Duty
