LCDR Michael Nalli

Lieutenant Commander Michael Nalli has served as the Executive Officer aboard USCGC CAMPBELL (WMEC 909) since July 2014.

After graduating from Stonehill College in 2000, Lieutenant Commander Nalli attended Officer Candidate School, and received his commission in May 2001.  His first assignment was as a Deck Watch Officer aboard USCGC MOHAWK, where he also served as the Weapons Officer and First Lieutenant.  In 2003, he served as the Executive Officer aboard USCGC BLOCK ISLAND and cross-decked to USCGC GRAND ISLE shortly thereafter.  In 2005, Lieutenant Commander Nalli transferred to the First Coast Guard District Command Center, and served as a Command Duty Officer for three years.  In 2008, Lieutenant Commander Nalli returned to sea to serve as Commanding Officer of USCGC FARALLON.  After delivering FARALLON to the Mission Effectiveness Project at the Coast Guard Yard, he took command of USCGC SITKINAK and returned the cutter to operations in the Seventh Coast Guard District.  In 2010, Lieutenant Commander Nalli reported to the First Coast Guard District and served as the patrol boat manager, before serving as the Chief of Cutter Management in 2012.

Lieutenant Commander Nalli’s personal awards include two Coast Guard Commendation Medals, three Coast Guard Achievement Medals, and various service and unit awards.  He is married to the former Melea Bollman, and they have two sons, Jack and Luke.
